EQUIPMENT SERVICES
The Washoe County Community Services Department is dedicated to providing excellent service while protecting the health of our employees, families and our customers. Our professional office teams will remain available to the public through our online and electronic tools. CSD public offices, including the Longley Lane offices, remain closed to the public. Equipment Services is operating normally providing service to vehicles from all Departments. When visiting either the Heavy or Light Shops for vehicle maintenance expect the following:

Equipment Service has two automotive maintenance/repair facilities, staffed with a number of highly skilled ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified mechanics that provide the majority of vehicle/equipment maintenance and repairs.
The main fleet vehicle maintenance/repair facilities is located at the Longley Lane Corporation Yard and the other, which is strictly dedicated to the Washoe County Sheriff`s Office, at 911 Parr Blvd. Both facilities are under the supervision of Rick Anderson.
Sharing the Longley Lane Corporation Yard is Equipment Services’ main heavy equipment maintenance/repair facility which, along with satellite locations in Incline Village and Gerlach, Nevada, is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the County’s diverse heavy equipment fleet. These facilities are under the supervision of Tom Maltezo.
