How to obtain Proof of Marriage
For proof of marriage, you may obtain a certified copy of your Marriage Certificate from the Washoe County Recorder's Office.
It is important to note that marriage certificate copies are available only for licenses that were issued in Washoe County. If you went to the Washoe County Clerk's Office, filled out an application and obtained a license to get married, and the "I do" ceremony was performed, your marriage certificate should be located in the Washoe County Recorder's Office.
