Request for Service

WCRAS makes every effort to respond to citizen requests for service in a professional and efficient manner.  With an average of over 90 service calls per day, WCRAS prioritizes each call and staff make every effort to assist you as soon as possible. 

You can request Animal Services assistance by clicking on the service request listed below or by calling dispatch at (775) 322-3647 (DOGS)

• Stray or confined dog 
• Animal welfare concerns
• Pick up a dead stray or dead wild animal
• A complaint about a neighbor's noisy animal
• Other non-emergency requests

Examples of a call that needs immediate assistance:

• An animal in a hot car
• An animal bite or aggressive animal
• Pets in distress
