Washoe County and State of Nevada agencies will host a Community Resource Event for Lemmon Valley residents on Monday, March 6, 2017. Homeowners impacted by the recent flood event are urged to attend the meeting in the auditorium of the Lemmon Valley Elementary School. The purpose of the Community Resource Event is to assist Lemmon Valley residents with their immediate and long-term needs due to the recent and ongoing flooding in their area. Representatives from Washoe County and State of Nevada and other supporting entities will be on hand to provide information and resources to affected homeowners. Service organizations from local, regional and state agencies will be assembled in the Lemmon Valley Elementary School for residents to discuss options for various types of assistance.
