With your Washoe County Library card, enjoy unlimited access to lynda.com, an online library of high-quality instructional videos covering the latest software, creative, and business skills. With more than 3,000 courses taught by industry experts, lynda.com is designed for all levels of learners and is available whenever you’re ready to learn. You can even view it on your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, or other mobile device.
Popular courses include home and small office software, graphic design and game design, educational technology, photography and videography, programming, small business marketing and much more.
The addition of lynda.com enhances existing resources for small business owners while also providing options for those who wish to pursue professional or personal skill enhancement.
Other business resources include recently updated meeting rooms with technology to support business and community meetings as well as coworking spaces. Libraries also offer a variety of online resources to assist businesses from marketing to the latest business news; examples are ReferenceUSA, Business Source Elite, Regional Business News, and the newly launched lynda.com.
